Sara has over 15 years of design experience working in the Bay Area.
Most recently she was VP of Design at Habit LLC. Sara was one of the first to join Habit, at a time when Habit didn’t have a name or target, it was just an idea that needed a vision. Sara was an integral part in developing that vision, and in turn the brand. She was responsible for the warm, yet bold visual aesthetic for Habit. She built a dynamic team to help her bring the brand to life across every imaginable touchpoint–even cotton swabs.
Before joining Habit, Sara ran her own design company delivering everything from identity and packaging design to web and print for PACT apparel, the San Francisco foundation and Rickshaw Bagworks to name a few. Before that, she earned her stripes at fuseproject, the award-winning industrial design and branding firm and at Moxie Method, managing teams for clients like Herman Miller, Mission Motors and 21st Amendment Brewery.
Currently Sara is working with her own clients. Her preference is to align with an organization whose mission is to make the world a better place. Sara’s unique experience of working both in-house and with agencies has given an understanding of achieving business objectives, without sacrificing design. She has a no-ego, fun-loving attitude. Sara loves designing, getting her hands “dirty”, and working closely with her team/clients.
