Sayl, designed by Yves Behar, is Herman Miller’s version of a more accessible Eames Chair. While at fuseproject Sara lead a team of graphic designers in the creation of launch materials for the Sayl Chair. The team worked closely with Yves to make sure his vision was executed. Process was a big part of the story - the launch website was an interactive site where the user could go back and forth to learn about Sayl’s design process and all the work that went into its design. Video was created for the site, and PR, that tells the story of the design process through stop motion animation. A larger format brochure, with smaller pages from Yves sketchbook, was created for retailers, distributors and PR for the chair’s launch.
